Assassin or Patsy ?

One of the most intriguing questions surrounding the Assassination of John F. Kennedy is the one concerning his accused assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald.   Wikipedia says about him-- "Lee Harvey Oswald was, according to four government investigations, the sniper who assassinated John F. Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States, in Dallas, Texas, on November 22, 1963."  Sorta cut and dried.  To the point.  Without controversy.  No doubts.  It certainly sounds that way.  But is it really ?  Or is there substantial doubt and facts that lead us to another conclusion.

We've always been taught growing up that a man is "innocent until proven guilty."  That is the law in this country.  At least that is what we are told.  Unfortunately, not all of the facts and testimony regarding this crime were ever presented in their entirety.  Couldn't be.  When a man accused of a crime is gunned down and silenced forever, it is quite obvious that we will never be able to hear every side of the story.  Some things will logically never come to the light.  We will probably never know all of the details, all of the stories, all of the evidence.

But isn't it proven "beyond a reasonable doubt?"  Well- you be the judge.  There have been tens of thousands of pages written, and hundreds of thousands of pages of documents filed regarding this case, and it still is undecided in the minds of the majority of the people of the world.  Why ?  Because to so many, it just doesn't add up.

Assassin or Patsy ?  Well-- the accused himself claimed the latter.  Why should we believe him ?  Well-- we shouldn't.. if all of the evidence leads us to convict him.  But what if much of the evidence and testimony lead us to believe otherwise ?   It's only logical that we should follow the signs to the truth.  And if we have not taken the time to alert ourselves to what the facts are, then it is well past time to do so.

On this page, we will examine the accused assassin of President John F. Kennedy.  Who is Lee Harvey Oswald ?  A lone nut ?   A young confused idealist ?   The person who planned and plotted to kill the president ?   Let's see what we together can learn about him.

Odd Coincedence

It just so happens that the FONT used in my TAB headings is titled OSWALD.  It is not the fonts that I'm presently using to write this blog post.  They are Georgia and Times.  The OSWALD font is only available under the "Advanced" heading, which allows you to adjust your setting for various blog features, such as Tab Headings.

Just thought that was an odd coincidence, since our topic includes the subject of the accused JFK assassin Lee Harvey Oswald.

I'm using the OSWALD font for not only this JFK blog, but for most of my entire website.  So the font name was not a deliberate thing, just an odd coincidence.
